John T. Mulhall III

John T. Mulhall III is a founding shareholder of the Firm and Chairman of its Litigation Department. His areas of concentration are Litigation, Marital and Family Law and Appellate Practice. He possesses an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

John was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1961. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University (B.A., cum laude, 1983) and The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University (J.D. 1986), where he was a member of the National Appellate Moot Court Team and recipient of the E.I. King Appellate Moot Court Award. He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 1986 and to The Florida Bar in 1987. He is admitted to practice before U.S. District Courts in Pennsylvania and Florida, as well as the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Palm Beach County, South Palm Beach County, Pennsylvania and American (Member: Family Law; Litigation Sections) Bar Associations and The Florida Bar (Member: Family Law; Appellate Practice & Advocacy Sections).

John serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of South Palm Beach County. John is a Director and Past President of the Board of Directors for Home Safe, Inc., which provides residential shelter and foster care for abandoned, abused and neglected infants and children. He has served as a Trustee of its foundation as well. John's civic interest and involvement includes his service on the Board of Directors for the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, where he is currently Vice Chair. He has served as Chair of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the 15th Judicial Circuit "D". In his spare time, he is a YMCA volunteer and youth sports coach. In 2002, John and his wife, Lisa, received the Community Service Award from the George Snow Scholarship Foundation in recognition of their community service efforts in Boca Raton. In 2004, the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers named John their "Biggest Heart" at their annual Men with Caring Hearts award ceremony for his work on behalf of children and families in the area.

John and Lisa reside in Delray Beach with their daughter and two sons.
